Dear Parents,
We are very excited to announce that we will be having a Children's Christmas Program this year at Devonshire! The program will be presented Sunday morning, December 21st, in the morning worship service.
Your child is invited to participate, but we will also need your support and assistance in preparing them for this event.
- The children will be learning songs for the programs in children's church and at Wednesday night programs. Word sheets will be sent home, and it will be great if you can go over it with them at home.
- Each child will be given a part to play, and most will be speaking parts. Please work with your child in memorizing this part, so they will be confident when the time comes to present it in the program. This will be an important part of their enjoyment of this experience.
- Please plan for your child to attend a rehearsal on Saturday morning, December 20th from 9-11 at the church. This is very important, because otherwise your child will feel confused and uncertain the morning of the program. We will quickly run through the program and let them practice marching in, standing on the platform, and speaking their little pieces.
I hope this will be a memorable experience for the children of our church, and will help them to know what an important of our church family they are!
